The Strategic Edge was formed in 1989 by Joan E. Primo and Jay A. Wedeven. We provide experienced, professional, and value-based retail and real estate consulting for developers, retailers, and municipalities.

For our market studies, we incorporate external data and combine that with our client's internal data. External data include the latest economic, business, census, demographic, lifestyle information from both governmental sources and private data houses.

Our work product can take the form of an overall strategy, a market screening, optimal site location, a site specific sales forecast, database development, tenant recommendations, trade area definition and analysis.
